A sunny Sunday funday AND a Tyrannosaurus…where do we sign up for that?! Chastain park may not quite have been transformed into the movie set to the Jurassic World sequel…it still had plenty of the wow factor with this T-Rex inflatable for children’s area of the Chastain park arts festival.
We headed down before the arts festival opened to navigate the parking and the art exhibits with this crew. It was perfect timing for finding street parking, a hike through the park and taking in all the art exhibits while it was not so crowded so we could keep track of all these full of energy little guys. We of course could not miss one very special artist featuring our favorite sterling and gold jewelers (who also happens to be Nini and Poppa Todd). Make sure to check out their etsy shop for one of kind and beautiful jewelry!! I’m wearing a gorgeous aquamarine with a blue so perfect it was meant to be paired with my Frame chambray top. These Frame cut-offs are worth mentioning too for their comfort and just right length. Another favorite stop of mine this afternoon was an adorable boutique coffee bus . Of course… for the rest of this crew the T-Rex inflatable bounce house with giant slide was the highlight (and seeing Nini!!) along with plenty playground fun.
A day at Chastain Park is not complete without a turn on the giant glider swings.
Hiking, art, playing, bouncing ALL with the perfect weather with plenty of sunshine made for fun in the Sun(day) for sure! A family day outside with endless activity makes for some tired little dinosaurs. Now off these four in bed and ready for the Monday morning rush! But not without reading a few of Brookie’s favorite bedtime How Do Dinosaurs stories “nighty-night little dinosaurs.” xxxxjess
