Timoti’s Seafood Shak Fernandina Beach is one of our family’s vacation dining favorites. When we are visiting Amelia Island, it’s certainly a special treat. We find any excuse to have lunch, dinner, or just for drinks at Timoti’s Seafood Shak. Their casual dining with outdoor seating easily accommodates our family of six. In addition, their boat playground is a crowd pleaser. Entertaining the guys while waiting before and after dinner. Lastly, their menu selection has something for all six of us.
Pirate boat playground for these three scalawags
Timoti’s Seafood Shak Boat Playground
Timoti’s Seafood Shak boat playground is by far the boys’ favorite part of dining out in Fernandina Beach. Everyone orders inside while the guys play pirates outside. It’s the perfect themed play for the storied pirate past of Amelia Island.

While the guys are on the boat playground, we place orders inside for pickup at a window outside. Three of our four request fried shrimp. Kids fried shrimp baskets that come complete with fries, hush puppies, and lemon slices. Michael orders the fried, blackened, or grilled Shrimp Po’Boy. I have bites of everyone else’s and an Archer Roose bubbly. While these guys went to a movie with their Aunt one afternoon, Michael and I made a special trip to Timoti’s Seafood Shak specifically to sip the Archer Roose bubbly. This is the only place I have ever found the bubbly wine from Veneto, Italy.
The bubbly also is served the second it is ordered. We send in one adult to order and one adult to grab a long bench table al fresco. Seating at times can be limited. I happily sip my Archer Roose, the boys happily play pirates on the boat playground, and Michael happily waits for fresh Florida shrimp.
Timoti’s Seafood Shak is located in downtown Fernandina Beach just off Main Street. There is plenty of parking in downtown Fernandina Beach. Where we stay while on Amelia Island it’s just a 10 minute drive from the beach access we cross multiple times a day during our summer holiday.
